Street Clocks pairs two street clocks of contrasting heights that correspond to my and my partner’s statures—4 feet and 6 feet. By adapting clocks typically found in communal metropolitan spaces to function as portraiture, the work challenges assumptions about normative size in the public sphere while also producing a whimsical image.
